Job Overview

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control activities for construction and engineering projects. This position is responsible for implementing project quality requirements, overseeing inspections, managing quality documentation, coordinating with project teams and subcontractors, and ensuring all work complies with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements.

The QA/QC Manager will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives to identify quality risks, resolve nonconformance issues, and maintain consistent quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project QA/QC plans, procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality standards.

  • Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, client requirements, and project quality standards.

  • Monitor overall project quality performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Inspection & Quality Control

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee inspections and testing of materials, equipment, installations, and construction activities.

  • Conduct routine site inspections and quality audits to identify deficiencies and verify workmanship.

  • Ensure required inspections and testing are properly documented and completed before work progresses.

Nonconformance & Corrective Action

  • Manage Nonconformance Reports (NCRs), deficiencies, punch-list items, and corrective actions.

  • Lead root-cause analysis and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with project teams and subcontractors.

  • Track recurring quality issues and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Subcontractor & Project Coordination

  • Monitor subcontractor and vendor quality performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.

  • Coordinate quality-related activities with Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives.

  • Participate in quality meetings, project coordination meetings, and client discussions as required.

Quality Documentation & Turnover

  • Maintain accurate inspection records, testing reports, NCR logs, quality documentation, and turnover packages.

  • Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and other technical documentation for quality requirements.

  • Support system walkdowns, punch-list completion, commissioning preparation, project closeout, and final turnover.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Provide quality guidance, training, and technical support to project personnel and subcontractors.

  • Promote a strong quality culture and ensure project teams understand and follow established QA/QC requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of QA/QC experience within construction, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or related project environments.
  • Previous experience in a QA/QC Manager, Quality Manager, Lead QC Inspector, or similar leadership role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Experience developing and managing Quality Plans, ITPs, inspection procedures, NCRs, corrective actions, and turnover documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, technical documents, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, project teams, and client representatives.
  • Strong understanding of inspection, testing, documentation, and quality record requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project documentation systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project and field environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, cleanroom, MEP, industrial, or high-tech construction projects.
  • Experience working on large-scale EPC or design-build construction projects.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, piping, structural, or process utility systems.
  • Knowledge of applicable industry standards such as ASME, AWS, NFPA, NEC, ASTM, or other relevant codes.
  • Experience with client inspections, commissioning, system turnover, and closeout processes.
  • Relevant quality certifications such as ASQ, CQM, AWS, ICC, or equivalent are a plus.
