At District Photo, our employees are the heart of our company. We are seeking a Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager in our Phoenix factory.

Job Summary


The QCI Manager is responsible for the overall quality and continuous improvement strategy at the plant. This role leads the QCI team, develops and implements the site鈥檚 quality management system, and drives process innovation. The Manager is accountable for plant-level results and reports directly to the QCI Director. This role provides strategic leadership and is the highest QCI authority at the site.

Responsibilities


Quality Management


  • 聽Develop, implement, and maintain the plant鈥檚 quality management system.
  • 聽Lead strategic CI initiatives and Lean workshops.
  • 聽Oversee audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • 聽Analyze data and trends to drive improvement.
  • 聽Ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

Continuous Improvement


  • 聽Oversee training and development for the QCI team.
  • 聽Foster cross-functional collaboration and share best practices.
  • 聽Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.


Documentation & Reporting


  • 聽Utilize data and metrics to assess effectiveness of quality and CI initiatives.
  • 聽Generate regular reports for site and senior leadership.
  • 聽Maintain SOPs and ensure documentation accuracy.

Communication & Collaboration


  • 聽Partner with production, engineering, and other departments.
  • 聽Communicate effectively at all levels to drive change.

Qualifications

Skill / Qualification


Required / Preferred


Bachelor鈥檚 degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience -Required

5+ years in quality management and CI, with leadership experience-Required

Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills-Required

Knowledge of quality management systems, Lean, Six Sigma-Required

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite-Required

Advanced degree or certifications in quality/CI-Preferred

Certified Six Sigma Black Belt-Preferred

Knowledge of printing technologies, Print on Demand, or related 聽聽sectors-Preferred


Working Conditions


路 Significant walking, bending, standing.

路 Physical activities include reaching, pulling, pushing, gripping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

路 Prolonged periods at a desk/computer as needed.
