Summary:Ā
This role drives continuous quality improvement by gathering and analyzing data, maintaining standards, proposing solutions, and communicating with all stakeholders, from operators to high-level management. Ā
Responsibilities:Ā
- Oversee all quality inspections, including activity of off shifts
- Submit non-conformance reports if needed and follow up to ensure problems are corrected
- Ensure accurate and standardized collection of data
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and troubleshootingĀ
- Work independently and also in collaboration with othersĀ
- Communicate with all stakeholders to ensure testing for changes in materials or dimensions occurs
- Provide data as requested by other work related team include HQ
- Track/monitoring SPC data of all inspections and drive future changesĀ
- Write and maintain work instructions
- Train operators when any changes occur
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Ā
- Bachelorās degree required or equivalent, relevant experience (MS preferred)
- Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/industrial Engineering / Computer science / or equivalent
- Knowledge Lean Six Sigma (Greenbelt or black belt holder preferred)
Experience:
- 0 to 3+ years of experience in a quality engineer or related role
- Experience with complete core documents, including control plans and process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA) helpfulĀ
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) preferred
- Experience with 4M change process preferredĀ
