Summary:

The System QA Technician is a shop-floor–based quality role supporting the manufacturing of ESS Link systems at a newly established facility. This position focuses on in-line inspection, process monitoring, and early detection of quality issues throughout the production flow. The technician plays an active role in stabilizing manufacturing quality, applying inspection standards, and supporting outgoing quality confirmation in a shift-based production environment. This role requires close collaboration with engineers and advisors while maintaining strong ownership of hands-on quality activities on the manufacturing floor.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-line quality inspections on ESS Link products during manufacturing

  • Monitor production processes and detect abnormalities, defects, or deviations from standards

  • Support containment and initial response activities for quality issues identified on the shop floor

  • Document inspection results, issues, and observations using checklists, logs, and basic data tools

  • Support outgoing quality confirmation prior to shipment (OQC-related activities)

  • Escalate quality concerns to Quality Engineers or Advisors with clear factual information

  • Follow and apply quality standards, work instructions, and inspection criteria

  • Participate in quality stabilization and continuous improvement activities within manufacturing
      

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts, including night shifts
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing and shop-floor environment
  • Basic understanding of safety practices in production environments

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician or Quality Technician
  • Experience working in a production line or manufacturing operation
  • Experience with inspection, verification, or quality-related tasks
  • Exposure to electrical or mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment is a 

Skills:

  • Strong shop-floor–oriented, hands-on working style with ownership of assigned quality tasks

  • Ability to observe production processes carefully and identify abnormalities at an early stage

  • Discipline to follow quality standards, inspection criteria, and work instructions consistently

  • Capability to escalate issues based on facts and data, rather than bypassing or informally fixing problems

  • Basic documentation and data recording skills, including checklists, logs, and Excel-level tools

  • Clear and timely communication with engineers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams

  • Awareness of safety practices and risk when working around electrical and mechanical systems

  • Ability to work independently during shift operations, including night shifts

  • Adaptability to a start-up or early-stage manufacturing environment where processes are still being established

  • Willingness to learn new systems, inspection methods, and quality standards as the organization grows.
