Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Research Fellow, you will perform research tasks consistent with our Knowledge Donor program, with the specific duties determined to support ongoing and future projects.Every day you will contribute to the program or other research environments under the direct guidance of both clinical and operational leadership of the program while actively developing the essential skills and expertise required for a successful career as an independent investigator or advanced researcher.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to rigorous scientific inquiry, continuous professional development, and collaborative work. Your dedication to your assigned research projects and personal growth within the program will be paramount.
- Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of study protocols, including coordinating data collection activities, ensuring adherence to standardized procedures, and maintaining secure data management systems in compliance with institutional requirements.
- Conduct systematic literature reviews on assigned research topics, synthesize findings, and prepare annotated bibliographies or literature summary documents to support grant development, protocol refinement, and manuscript preparation.
- Assist with quantitative and qualitative data analysis under faculty supervision, including data coding, transcription management, preliminary statistical calculations, and preparation of data summary tables and visualizations for research reports.
- Support the preparation and submission of IRB applications, continuing review documents, and study-related compliance materials; maintain records of regulatory approvals; and flag emerging compliance issues to the faculty lead.
- Contribute to manuscript preparation by organizing data, creating tables and figures, formatting references, managing revisions, and supporting the submission and tracking process for peer-reviewed publications.
- Create and maintain detailed records of research activities, outcomes, and interim findings; prepare progress reports for stakeholders, funding agencies, and institutional leadership; and ensure proper archival of study documentation.
