Compensation: $48,331.25 – $54,571.88 year-round salary (DOE)

Responsibilities:Â
Use AMS curriculum standards to teach students above and below grade level through a differentiated approach
Attend weekly professional development sessions and meetings with grade-level teams/professional learning communities
Communicate effectively with parents and lead parent-student-teacher meetings to facilitate progress both in and outside the classroom
Coordinate with administrators and other staff members to create an environment focused on meeting students’ academic and behavioral needs
Use measurable data to track student performance and enhance student outcomes with visible results
Collaborate with network and school teams to continuously improve instructional practices and student achievement
Utilize PBIS and preventative intervention strategies to guide students in developing social and emotional skills that support lifelong learning
Minimum Qualifications:
Arizona State Certification in Special Education
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education OR a Bachelor’s in a related field with at least two years of K–8 teaching experience
Passion for supporting Title I and ESL students in underserved communities
Ability to pass a background check and obtain an IVP fingerprint clearance card
