The Avionics industry is entering into a new exciting age of Urban Air Mobility and Autonomous Flight.

As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer within our TCAS (Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System) and Transponder Product Team, you will play a critical role in creating advanced systems that will meet the long-term evolving needs of the Aviation industry. Your systems engineering expertise will not only impact on the successful delivery of cutting-edge Avionics solutions but also contribute to the broader mission of enhancing global aviation travel, navigation and safety.

In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions that support Honeywell’s aerospace initiatives, helping to drive innovation and maintain our leadership in the industry

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

On our team, you will have the opportunity to work on next-generation and new product development projects, directly contributing to the advancement of aviation technology in the Airborne Traffic, Collision Avoidance & Surveillance Avionics space. 

  • Work across disciplines, collaborating with cross-functional teams consisting of Systems, Software, Hardware and Test Engineers to understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions.
  • Systems Design - Develop system architectures that align with product goals while ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with aviation standards
  • Utilize model-based design methodologies
  • Requirements Analysis / Decomposition - Analyze stakeholder requirements, breaking them down into technical specifications that guide the design and development processes.
  • Systems Integration, Systems Validation & Verification.
  • Customer Interaction.
  • Project Oversight / Coordination.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in software engineering practices, TCAS, and airborne Avionics technologies.
