Sr. Application Developer

The Senior Application Developer is responsible for new application development, and maintenance of a variety of client‐server and web-enabled
applications as well as recommending/executing design decisions for the architecture and methodology of key Telgian IT
applications including database design, and Windows/mobile client interfaces. To achieve this, the Sr. Application Developer conducts
research as required to stay abreast of latest development trends and technologies, including .NET and 3rd party components. The scope of
this position may also include interacting in a small team of local and/or off shore developers, and other related tasks.

Your Opportunity:

• Develops project plans to estimate project timelines and resource requirements/utilization to complete technical projects on‐time and on target.
• Creates database layers, including table design and relationships, stored procedures, views and SQL job management.
• Develops DLLs and dal access layers using c# coding using common design patterns to promote code manageability and reusability.
• Researches and evaluates new development technologies and 3rd party tools for possible utilization on future projects.
• Takes technical ownership of assigned, specific software systems and products, including monitoring for usability, updates, and making corrections when needed.
• Interacts and communicates with offshore and local resources as required to ensure timely and effective completion of technical projects.
• Creates and updates technical documentation including high level descriptions and source code locations; builds and deploys instruction and related standard work. 
• Other duties as assigned.
