HJ Staffing is seeking a Sr. QNXT Software Engineer with deep healthcare technology experience to support enterprise software development initiatives for a leading healthcare organization

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong architecture, integration, and development expertise, specifically within healthcare payer environments and QNXT platforms. You will play a key role in designing, developing, integrating, and supporting highly complex software solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance.

  • Location: This is a Hybrid role. Candidates must currently reside in Arizona and be able to work onsite at one of the Arizona offices when needed.
  • System Prerequisite: Direct, hands-on QNXT platform experience is strictly required and must be clearly reflected on your resume.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex enterprise healthcare software solutions.
  • Lead software architecture, requirements gathering, technical design, and coding initiatives.
  • Develop and support integrations, APIs, connectors, and communication frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Support software verification, validation, testing, and certification activities.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing customer and operational support.
  • Participate in process improvements, value engineering, and future-state technology planning.
  • Ensure software configuration management and change management best practices are followed.

What You Will Bring:

  • 10 years of experience performing software architecture, requirements, design, and coding for healthcare products.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with QNXT platforms and healthcare payer systems (Mandatory).
    • Recent, hands-on QNXT experience within a healthcare payer environment.
    • Strong C#/.NET and SQL development experience.
    • Experience with RESTful APIs, SSIS, and SSRS.
    • Healthcare EDI/X12 experience is preferred.
    • Experience supporting claims, billing, enrollment, or care management
  • Strong experience in software architecture, design, development, and integration.
  • Experience developing enterprise platform software, integrations, and communication frameworks.
  • Proficiency coding in multiple programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Experience with software configuration management and change management practices.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred

This position is fully remote. Candidates cannot reside in Alaska, California, Delaware, Hawaii, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Washington, D.C., or Wyoming.
