What you will be doingÂ
The Albertsons Companies Supply Chain Leadership Program offers recent graduates an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and supply chain knowledge through an immersive 18-month learning experience. Participants will rotate through key departments within the organization, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic world of supply chain at Albertsons. Upon successful graduation from the program, you will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time leadership position, depending on performance and availability within Distribution Centers, Manufacturing Plants, and Supply Chain Corporate Groups.Â
The position will be based in Phoenix, AZ.Â
Main responsibilitiesÂ
- Department Rotations: Engage in month-long rotations in various departments, including Distribution Center Operations, Manufacturing Operations, Replenishment (Buying), Sourcing, and Retail. Department rotations will include the opportunity to take on challenging projects and work closely with mentors and managers to develop technical and soft skills. Participants will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team as they expand their professional knowledge. Â
- Project Management: Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing supply chain processes and improving efficiency.Â
- Mentorship: Receive guidance and on-the-job training from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the Supply Chain network.Â
- Training Sessions: Attend workshops and training sessions on supply chain management, logistics, procurement, strategic planning, and leadership development.Â
- Performance Evaluation: Regular assessment of progress and performance with Department Leadership.Â
What we are searching for Â
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration or applicable major supporting distribution, logistics, supply chainÂ
- Ability to quickly develop new skills, learn new tools, and integrate new techniquesÂ
- Highly skilled with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, Visio and PowerPoint.Â
- Passionate about making an impact while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams for overall company objectivesÂ
- Experience managing multiple priorities and managing various work assignments.Â
- Highly motivated with strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative on your own. Â
- Ability to problem solve and think criticallyÂ
- Strong communication skillsÂ
- 10% travel requiredÂ
