Description

Our Support Staff monitor clients, transport them for treatment, communicate and document all occurrences, and help to provide a safe, caring environment in which the clients can recover. The Support Staff spend more direct time with the clients than any other position, and as such, are the lead role models in helping the clients to rebuild new lives. It requires maintaining a positive, productive attitude, even when clients may be argumentative or non-compliant. 


 Shift: Nights

  • Client Supervision and Management including coordinating care and      services
  • Facility compliance checks and documentation
  • Record keeping and documentation
  • Personal and client accountability
  • General housekeeping
  • Inventory
  • Meal Prep & Service
  • Alcohol and Drug testing
  • Documentation in housing software program
  • Property Management & Light Maintenance

Founded in 2012, Axiom Care is a Phoenix-based behavioral health organization that aims to ensure every Arizonan has access to compassionate, effective substance use treatment. With facilities in Maricopa and Pinal Counties, we offer comprehensive services including 24/7 observation, inpatient detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient treatment, and recovery housing with a focus on underserved populations.

Requirements

 Requirements

  • Working knowledge of recovery programs including: The12 Steps, Smart Recovery, etc.
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
  • Shift Flexibility
  • Take direction well
  • Team player
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Food Handler's Card
  • Negative TB Test
  • Computer skills: Knowledge of Windows, basic email, Microsoft Word, timekeeping software. Basic computer navigation skills. Ability to type at least 30 words per minutes.
  • Professional and/or personal experience with substance abuse treatment is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret emails, policies, letters, procedures, etc.
  • Ability to operate 15-passenger van
  • Ability to work at least 1 weekend day/night shift in their scheduled work week
  • High level of patience
