The ideal candidate will have strong skills in test development, fixture creation, debugging, and interfacing with both internal teams and customers. The Test Engineer is responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining test plans and fixtures for new products. This includes troubleshooting in-circuit test fixtures, debugging using various measurement equipment, developing test programs, and providing technical support to both engineering and production teams. 聽 Key Responsibilities 路 Develop and design test programs and fixtures for PCBAs, including both manual and automated testing systems, ICT and flying probe. 路 Write and implement test programs and scripts to ensure the quality of products through testing protocols. 路 Utilize oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, and other test equipment for performance validation. 路 Troubleshoot in-circuit test fixtures, J-TAG debugging, and other common testing issues. 路 Collaborate with R&D, product engineering, and production teams to improve test methods and processes. 路 Use measurement equipment like multimeters and other precision instruments to ensure product specifications. 路 Develop and scale test capacity to meet production demands, ensuring that all tests are performed according to schedule. 路 Propose and implement test time reduction techniques to increase efficiency without compromising quality. 路 Provide customer support and technical documentation on test procedures and outcomes. 路 Analyze test data, perform failure analysis and provide recommendations for product improvements.QualificationsQualifications 路 In-depth experience with test development for PCBAs in the electronics manufacturing industry. 路 Expertise in debugging techniques, including J-TAG and in-circuit testing. 路 Strong proficiency with oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, and other standard PCB testing equipment. 路 Experience writing test programs, including scripting and automation. 路 Ability to interface with customers and provide effective technical support. 路 Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret test data and propose solutions for performance issues. 路 Understanding of test capacity scaling and test time reduction methods. 路 Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in PCB testing and quality assurance. 路 Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production staff. 路 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Education and Experience 路 Preferred Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. 路 3+ years of experience in test engineering, particularly within the PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing sector. 路 Experience with PCB design, circuit testing, and quality assurance procedures. 路 Familiarity with industry-standard testing protocols and equipment. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and move throughout the manufacturing floor as needed. Must occasionally lift and/or move items up to 35 pounds and support occasional off-shift or weekend production needs.
