Job DetailsJob Location: PHOENIX, AZ 85021Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: NoneTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AnyJob Category: EngineeringPosition Summary  The Test Technician at Titan Circuits will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our PCB assemblies by developing, implementing, and optimizing test processes. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in test development, fixture creation, debugging, and interfacing with both internal teams and customers.  The Test Technician is responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining test plans and fixtures for new products. This includes troubleshooting in-circuit test fixtures, debugging using various measurement equipment and providing technical support to both Engineering and production teams.    Key Responsibilities  Utilize and design fixtures for PCBAs, including both manual and automated testing systems, ICT and flying probe.  Improve and implement test programs and scripts to ensure the quality of products through testing protocols.  Utilize oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, and other test equipment for performance validation.  Troubleshoot in-circuit test fixtures, J-TAG debugging, and other common testing issues.  Collaborate with R&D, product Engineering, and production teams to improve test methods and processes.  Use measurement equipment like multimeters and other precision instruments to ensure product specifications.  Help scale test capacity to meet production demands, ensuring that all tests are performed according to schedule.  Propose and implement test time reduction techniques to increase efficiency without compromising quality.  Provide recommendations for product improvements.  QualificationsQualifications  In-depth experience with test development for PCBAs in the electronics manufacturing industry.  Expertise in debugging techniques, including J-TAG and in-circuit testing.  Strong proficiency with oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, and other standard PCB testing equipment.  Experience improving test programs, including scripting and automation.  Ability to interface with customers and provide effective technical support.  Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret test data and propose solutions for performance issues.  Understanding of test capacity scaling and test time reduction methods.  Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in PCB testing and quality assurance.  Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and production staff.  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  Education and Experience  Minimum 3 years of experience in test engineering, particularly within the PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing sector.  Experience with PCB design, circuit testing, and quality assurance procedures.  Familiarity with industry-standard testing protocols and equipment.
