Job Overview:

Delta Security Services is seeking responsible and professional Unarmed Security Guards to join our growing team. Guards will provide a visible presence to deter unwanted activity, report safety or security concerns, and respond to incidents as needed. This position requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while following post instructions.

Responsibilities: Patrol & Surveillance:

• Conduct regular patrols of the assigned property (vehicle or foot, as required)
• Monitor property and activity to detect signs of crime, disorder, safety hazards, or rule violations
• Remain alert and observant throughout the shift
• Check for open doors, broken gates, lights out, and other issues that may compromise security

Customer Service & Communication:

• Provide professional customer service to residents, visitors, employees, or vendors
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, law enforcement, and company staff
• Respond to questions or concerns in a professional manner
• Report any suspicious activity or persons to dispatch or management

Incident Response & Reporting:

• Respond to incidents including disturbances, trespassing, unauthorized access, or safety concerns
• Complete accurate written reports at the end of each shift and after any incident
• Notify dispatch, supervisors, or emergency services when necessary
• Follow all site-specific post orders and company protocols

Site Monitoring & Safety:

• Ensure secure access to buildings, gates, or restricted areas
• Perform lockups and unlocks when required
• Observe and report maintenance or safety issues such as broken lighting, leaking water, or hazardous conditions
• Remain professional and visible to promote a sense of safety for clients and guests

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid unarmed security guard license (Arizona Guard Card)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
• Must have reliable transportation and a working phone
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow post instructions and company procedures
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
