JARS Cannabis is a rapidly growing cannabis retailer focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences across our retail, vertical, and corporate operations. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Vertical Recruiting Coordinator to support hiring and onboarding across Arizona.

Position Overview:
The Vertical Recruiting Coordinator will support hiring efforts across vertical operations while owning the full onboarding lifecycle for all Arizona new hires, including retail, vertical, and corporate roles. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth, compliant, and efficient hiring and onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full onboarding process for all new hires from offer acceptance through first day
  • Collect, review, and process new hire paperwork, including completion and E-Verify of I-9 documents
  • Monitor onboarding progress in iSolved and follow up with candidates to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain organized and compliant digital records of all onboarding documentation
  • Communicate new hire readiness to hiring managers and training teams
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams for vertical roles
  • Process hiring requests and ensure proper approvals are obtained
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders
  • Track recruiting activity and assist in maintaining hiring data and reporting
  • Partner with HR and recruiting leadership to improve onboarding workflows and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of recruiting, HR, or administrative experience (high-volume or retail experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Experience with ATS or onboarding systems (iSolved preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
