Position Summary/Purpose:
Grand Canyon University is seeking a Data Intern to assist the Office of Assessment & Institutional Effectiveness with data-related tasks, such as data entry and cleaning, analysis, and visualization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collect, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of data.
  • Assist in preparing statistical data and information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Produce ad hoc reports and data as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Equipment Used and Responsibility:

  • MS Office – Outlook, Teams
  • MS Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • MS Power BI

Preferred Availability: 

  • Ability to work up to 20 hours per week, daytime hours, Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:

  • Educational interest in data management.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, primarily Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and Power BI.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Works well within a team and individually, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable and punctual, with ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated with effective time-management skills.
  • Able to focus on a single task, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize many tasks.
  • Willingness to work, learn and be flexible.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage

Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2026
