What We're Looking For:

The Supply Chain Specialist is a member of global supply chain management team. This role is responsible for partnering with key stakeholders in the region and global to build robust supply chain and improve material cost competitiveness by effectively managing supplier relation, optimizing supply base, implementing category strategy and global procurement process.


What You'll Do:

  • Develop regional supply chain strategy action planning and ensure alignment with business need and global supply chain strategy.
  • Deliver KPI of saving and TWC improvement.
  • Manage the global relation with selected critical suppliers who have global network and/or global manufacturing footprint.
  • Implement strategy sourcing with integrating category management, including establishing strong relation with strategic suppliers, consolidating spend to achieve competitive cost and best commercial terms, driving supplier VAVE, conducting competitive bidding, build and optimize price model.
  • Drive more lead cost country sourcing especially China/Mexico sourcing to keep competitive supplier base.
  • Early involved in NPI and product VAVE, source suppliers on time and at or below targeted cost.
  • Develop and improve supplier management program, including supplier selection, approval & registration process, supplier assessment scorecard and deactivation.
  • Design and improve procure-to-pay process by working with FIN/Material/IT.
  • Collaborate with operations closely to drive supplier performance improvement in delivery and quality. Work with quality & supplier in warranty resolution and cost recovery.
  • Develop and execute supply chain continuity plan to proactively mitigate risk and protect revenue.
  • Be involved in designing and implementing global procurement infrastructure, including global purchasing policy and process, contract management, vendor master administration platform, e-tools.
  • Lead supplier selection and cost reduction in major IDM towers, including MRO/Professional service/IT/Logistics/FM etc.
  • Work with FIN to deploy Standard roll & PPV outlook and tracking.


What You'll Bring:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or manufacturing
  • CSCP, CPIM, CPSM certifications are assets.

Experience:

  • 3 years' experience in sourcing management.
  • Proven experience in cost analysis and establishing a cost model.
  • HVAC industry knowledge: familiar with commodity markets and HVAC industry suppliers (local, regional, global)
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage and manage key stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Strong negotiation skills to negotiate across all levels.
  • An analytical, problem solver.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
  • Commercially and financially astute with previous experience managing budgets.
  • A resilient, self-starter.
