About the Role:
The Manual Lathe Machinist plays a critical role in our manufacturing process. This position requires a deep understanding of machining principles, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production cycle. The machinist will be responsible for operating manual lathes to overhaul critical aircraft parts. Attention to detail and precision measuring skills are essential to ensure that all parts conform to strict tolerances and quality requirements. Ultimately, the role contributes directly to the efficiency and success of the manufacturing operation by delivering reliable, accurately machined parts on schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating manual lathes in a aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
- Knowledge of machining processes including deburring and manual machining techniques.
Manual lathe experience is a must!
Overhaul experience is a plus.Â
This is a DOT rated position that requires pre-employment drug testing.Â
4:00am - 12:30pm or 12:30pm - 9:00pm
