The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for the facility safety,productivity
and inventory accuracy. The incumbent supervises a group of non-exempt employees, motivating them to meet company goals, top standards for safety, quality and productivity. The Supervisor ensures that the receipt, inspection and shipment of product for re-sale meets all State and Federal Laws in the bedding industry.

What You’ll Do:
* Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and
enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures with focus on
continuous improvement.

*Complies with federal, state, and local laws pertaining to warehouse, material handling, and
shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to
requirements; advising management on needed actions.

* Ensure safe work environment for all associates with robust Safety Program to create accident-free work areas.
*Provided DOT & FMSCA expertise to ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local requirements.
*Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security
procedures and protocols.

*Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
* Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repaid and requisitions for replacement.
*Achieves financial objectives by developing associates and monitoring adherence to procedures while motivating associates to hit productivity standards.
*Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees;
following up on work results.

*Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
*Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
*Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

What You’ll Need:
•Strong knowledge of inventory control processes.
•Demonstrated experience in a warehouse environment utilizing technology (e.g. layout, slotting, scanning, bin locations, etc.)
•Leadership , ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible
for making decisions.

•Management Skills–Ability to organize and direct oneself and effectively supervise others.
•Accountability–Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
•Time Management–Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines
•Coaching and Development–Ability to provide guidance and feedback to help others
strengthenspecific knowledge/skill areas.

•5+ years of warehouse/distribution, logistics, and delivery experience required.
