Job Overview:
  We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Packaging Production Manager to oversee and manage the production and assembly of packaging materials for our products. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or production environment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage teams to ensure that packaging operations run efficiently and meet quality standards. This role requires a keen understanding of production processes, supply chain logistics, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee Packaging Operations:
   • Lead and manage the packaging production team to ensure efficient and timely production of packaging materials.
   • Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring that all deadlines are met while maintaining product quality.
   • Monitor daily packaging production operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Quality Control and Improvement:
   • Ensure that packaging meets all customer and regulatory standards, including quality, safety, and environmental considerations.
   • Implement and oversee quality control systems to reduce defects and improve packaging efficiency.
   • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to packaging processes, techniques, and equipment.
3. Team Management and Training:
   • Hire, train, and supervise packaging production staff, ensuring they understand the production processes, safety protocols, and quality requirements.
   • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure high team morale and productivity.
   • Foster a collaborative and safe work environment while encouraging continuous improvement. 

1. Resource and Inventory Management:
   • Oversee inventory management for packaging materials, ensuring materials are ordered and stocked in advance to prevent production delays.
   • Monitor and manage the production of packaging materials, including managing waste and ensuring sustainability practices are in place.
   • Coordinate with the supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of packaging materials.
2. Health, Safety, and Compliance:
   • Ensure all packaging production activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
   • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or risks immediately.
   • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing packaging production.
3. Reporting and Analysis:
   • Analyze production performance data and report on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), including production rates, downtime, and material usage.
   • Provide regular reports to management on packaging production performance, issues, and improvement initiatives.
   • Utilize data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for cost-saving and process optimization.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field a plus but not required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in packaging production or a related manufacturing environment, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of packaging processes, machinery, and materials.
  • Familiarity with packaging design, production planning, and quality control systems.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Bilingual a plus but not required
