Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Follow maintenance schedules and supervisor instructions in alignment with company policies
  • Perform routine repairs and general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plastering)
  • Replace lighting and safely perform maintenance in elevated areas
  • Respond promptly to unscheduled maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Replenish maintenance supplies and support preventative maintenance routines
  • Identify and report malfunctions, hazards, and defective equipment
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols at all times
  • Support apartments/units to ensure readiness for residents
  • Collaborate with team members on various maintenance tasks (drywall, cabinetry, appliances, etc.)
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuous learning

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance team environment
  • Ability to perform mostly indoor work with occasional physical demands
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance

Preferred Skills

  • Experience troubleshooting refrigeration systems
  • Ability to read and interpret plumbing and electrical schematics
  • Versatility across general maintenance tasks (drywall, cabinetry, appliance servicing)
  • Flexible, team-oriented mindset

 

Pay Rate: The starting pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour, with compensation varying based on experience and qualifications.
