About the Role:

New Horizon Therapy is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to help as needed in a clinical environment.

Position Details
• PRN / As-needed.
• Flexible scheduling.
• Weekdays. No weekends.
• Supportive therapy team.
• A contract position.

What You’ll Do
• Provide pediatric occupational therapy treatments under the direction of the OT
• Follow through with written plans
• Document treatments
• Collaborate with therapy team as needed
• Support a positive and engaging environment

What We’re Looking For
• Active COTA license in Arizona
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Reliable and flexible with scheduling

Responsibilities:

Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
Conduct therapy sessions.
Document patient progress.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment for clients.

Requirements:

Current certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
Active state licensure in Arizona.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with pediatric clients.
Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs.
Basic proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
