Propel your career in environmental geology with our team as an Geologist. In this role, you'll learn from experienced environmental professionals while contributing to environmental assessment, compliance and remediation projects that restore land and communities. You'll gain hands-on field and office experience as part of a collaborative team that values curiosity, fresh perspectives, and growth at every career stage.

What You’ll Do

  • Support environmental site assessment, investigation, remediation, compliance and permitting projects
  • Perform soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and other environmental sample collection and shipping in accordance with project plan and standard procedures
  • Support drilling oversight, monitoring well installation, and well development activities
  • Log soil and/or rock samples, document subsurface conditions, and prepare field notes, boring logs, well construction logs, and sample records
  • Calibrate, operate, and maintain field equipment such as water quality meters, photoionization detectors, water level meters, GPS units, and sampling equipment
  • Prepare field documentation, technical memoranda, tables, figures, reports, permit documents, and regulatory submittals
  • Research environmental regulations, guidance, databases, and public records
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, drillers, laboratories, agencies, facility operators, and internal project teams
  • Support health and safety planning, tailgate safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and implementation of site-specific health and safety requirements
  • Assist with proposals, project research, cost estimates, meeting preparation, and business development

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in Geology, Hydrogeology or other related Earth Soil science
  • 2 - 5 years of related experience required
  • Ability to use AI tools responsibly for research, drafting, and data organization
  • Ability to research agency databases, public records, and municipal portals
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and traverse uneven terrain
  • Experience with solid waste or landfill development is a plus
  • Experience with MS Office Suite required; familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Bluebeam and/or Adobe Acrobat preferred
  • Ability to obtain OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time, including overnight stays
  • Adaptable and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as a proactive approach to problem solving
