POSITION SUMMARY:
The Courtesy Clerk delivers quality customer service. The individual will ensure the customer is satisfied and encouraged to come back to Cardenas Markets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service- oriented manner;
* Bag customers' groceries in a careful and timely manner and assist customers with loading items into vehicle;
* Assist customers in obtaining forgotten items from aisles;
* Restock any returned items in appropriate shelf or display case;
* Collect shopping carts to ensure easy accessibility for customers' use;
* Follow safety guidelines of cart retrieval;
* Provide flexibility by helping in any area in order to support store needs.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

* Customer Service experience desirable

The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Some requirements may be modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities:

* WALKING: Continuously, throughout shift, while moving about the store and handling merchandise.
* STANDING: Continuously, throughout shift.
* LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
