Maintenance Generalist 1st (Day) Shift

Job Details:

Starting Pay Range: $22.00 - 24.75/hr

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Generalist MG04 is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets. This role ensures a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson Foods' policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Assemble and disassemble equipment, pumps, and hydraulics.

Housekeeping Responsibilities.

Operate and maintain mobile equipment including skid steer and other loader classifications.

Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.

Engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly. Work in varying environmental conditions, including hot and cold.

Work overtime and weekends as needed.

Follow instructions and communicate effectively* Work at heights safely.

External Requirements:

Minimum of six months of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, or equivalent training. Experience in agriculture miffing maintenance is preferred.

Valid driver's license.

Basic computer skills*

Ability to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.

Ability to work at Heights.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Rehire Rule of no more than  3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
