Job Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:Â Â
- Support Manufacturing Engineering in the development of standards and specifications, including a complete purchase parts list related to controls systems.
- Plan and implement improvements within Assembly related to the specific controls systems.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams supporting activities related to controls issues.
- Provide technical support for controls systems during the introduction of new models.
- Ensure proper controls specific documentation delivery form the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
- Provide technical support to Assembly for resolving controls related issues.
- Support the Assembly Department Technical Training and Development program by conducting training classes, providing technical documentation, etc.
- Supervise the assembly and installation as well as assemble and installs new equipment and is able to make modifications to existing equipment as requested.
- Perform other duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTSÂ
​PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Â
- Frequent standing, walking, and lifting
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds
- Must stand 8+ hours a day
EDUCATION:Â
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or Technical Apprenticeship with Certification or Journeyman Card; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK EXPERIENCEÂ / TECHNICAL TRAINING:Â
- Minimum 4 years of automated manufacturing technical experience required
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, Fanuc and Kuka Robotics
