Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:  

  • Ensure compliance with all Magna, OSHA, and workplace safety policies while promoting a safe work environment through training, audits, and enforcement of safe material-handling practices.
  • Oversee material flow and inventory operations, including forklift operation, storage, shipping/receiving activities, cycle counts, and inventory transaction accuracy.
  • Monitor warehouse and storage efficiency by optimizing travel routes, maintaining safe storage conditions, and ensuring timely availability of materials and changeover racks.
  • Verify operational readiness by conducting vehicle inspections, confirming part quantities and conditions, and coordinating containers, dunnage, trucks, and trailers to prevent shortages or disruptions.
  • Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies, maintain required documentation, perform audits, and communicate operational issues and corrective actions to management.
  • Support daily operations through employee assistance, break relief coverage, housekeeping activities, policy adherence, and other assigned responsibilities.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

EDUCATION: 

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
  • HS Diploma or GED required

WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING: 

  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
