Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:  

  • Train and oversee quality auditors on standards, inspections, and required procedures
  • Enforce plant safety policies; conduct safety talks and ensure compliance
  • Lead shift startup/review routines (attendance, prior shift issues, production readiness)
  • Communicate and document quality issues through meetings, passdowns, and reporting channels
  • Audit processes, documentation, boards, inspections, and KPIs to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage non-conforming product containment, corrective actions, and cross-functional resolution efforts

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

EDUCATION: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   

WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING: 

  • Computer Skills: proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools including tape measures, scales, vernier calipers, datamytes, etc.
  • PDCA/8D/5 why knowledge a plus
  • Metal Finish and “A” class experience a plus
