Job DetailsJob Location: Greenville BE - Piedmont, SC 29673Empower Rental Group is hiring a Mechanic 2 in Greenville, SC!   Empower Rental Group is a family of local equipment rental providers across the Southeastern US. We began with 3 locations in 2021 with the goal of being the difference in the equipment rental industry by doing everything differently.  We now have over 36 locations, and we are adding a Level 2 Mechanic to our team in the Greenville, SC location!    Company Benefits:   Weekly Pay 401(k) with Company match Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Employer-paid life insurance with a "buy-up" option Employee Assistance Program Employer-paid STD Disability benefits Voluntary life, Accident, and LTD Disability benefit option Paid Parental leave Paid time off, Holiday Pay and Sick Time Referral program Retirement plan Employee Sharing Program   Our Mechanics prepare rental equipment for delivery, make appropriate modifications and repairs to units before delivery, and clean units before delivery.  Our Mechanics repair and clean equipment upon return from customer sites and complete service calls on units currently located at customer sites as assigned.  Our Mechanics also complete preventative maintenance as needed, as well as general yard work such as cleaning or preparing areas of work.   Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Cleans Equipment. Assists customers with loading and unloading fleet orders. Makes notes on rental tags. Assists customers with questions/customer service as applicable. Assists other mechanics with tasks such as lifting or moving heavy objects. Cleans up the yard and shop area. Performs some minor diagnoses of issues with the fleet. May perform repairs on the small fleet. Maintains a safe work environment. Performs job functions safely at all times. Demonstrates behaviors aligned with Company’s Core Values at all times. Assists in driving a continuous improvement strategy within the business to result in ongoing incremental gains in quality and efficiency. Performs other related duties as assigned.   Job Requirements: 0-2 years of experience Valid Driver’s License and the Ability to Drive Company Vehicles per Insurance Requirements may be required on a case-by-case basis, depending on branch needs. Excellent Customer Service Skills – for both internal and external customers. Exhibits average computer skills. Completes rental equipment preparation by the delivery date. Maintains a ready line.
