Child’s Play Wonderschool LLC is seeking a dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to oversee daily classroom operations and support the development of young children in a nurturing, play-based learning environment. This role is responsible for leading classroom instruction, guiding assistant teachers, and ensuring a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate experience for all students.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities

  • Lead daily classroom routines and learning experiences

  • Supervise and support assistant teachers and aides

  • Monitor children’s progress and developmental milestones

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment

  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding progress and needs

  • Ensure compliance with licensing and safety regulations

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere

  • Manage classroom behavior using appropriate guidance techniques

  • Support enrollment transitions and new student integration



Requirements

Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a preschool or childcare setting

  • Strong understanding of child development principles

  • Ability to lead a classroom and supervise staff

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Ability to meet state licensing requirements
