Kore Cares is hiring a Support Specialist in the Pierre area to join our growing team! We are searching for a motivated, compassionate individual who wants to make a difference in the lives of our clients and caregivers every day.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on care, scheduling, training, and administrative work—all while being part of a supportive, mission-driven team.


Full-Time | Monday–Friday (Days) + On-Call Rotation

Position Summary

The Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring both clients and caregivers have a positive, seamless experience. This position serves as a bridge between the office and the field—supporting client care, onboarding, scheduling, training, and administrative functions. 


Responsibilities and Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Fill open shifts as needed to ensure continuity of care
• Serve as a key communication point (phones, texts, emails)
• Assist with client onboarding, consultations, and follow-ups
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans
• Train and mentor caregivers through onboarding and supervision
• Coordinate caregiver schedules efficiently (skills, availability, travel)
• Assist with hiring, interviews, onboarding, and HR support
• Complete administrative tasks, billing, payroll support, and documentation
• Manage caregiver technology systems and client education
• Support agency growth through reviews, branding, and community presence
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support
• Perform additional duties to support team and client success

Requirements

• 2 years of healthcare experience (LPN/RN, caregiving or CNA preferred) 

• 1 year of healthcare administrative experience preferred  

• Strong communication and organizational skills  

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively  

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn systems  

• Must be able to physically perform job duties  

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English  

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required  

• Ability to travel to client homes within the service area  

 

Physical Requirements:

• Walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs  

• Combination of office and field work 

• Extended computer and phone use
