Plumbing Service Tech

Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in both new construction and existing structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for pipe threading, fitting installation, welding, and assembly tasks
• Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials while adhering to safety protocols
• Conduct remodeling and remodeling-related plumbing work to upgrade or replace existing systems
• Diagnose mechanical issues related to plumbing infrastructure
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed for each project

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards
• Hands-on experience with construction site work, including heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks
• Familiarity with carpentry skills useful for remodeling or assembly projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills with maintenance person experience or general remodeling background preferred
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites while maintaining high safety standards
