Position: Patient Service Specialist- Piggott Clinic

The Patient Service Specialist works as a part of the care team performing those clerical duties necessary to prepare patients for a visit. Greet patients, checks patients in and out and collects fees. Ensures that accurate patient and insurance information is collected and entered in the EHR. Answers telephone, takes messages and makes appointments. Attendance is an essential job function.

Qualifications:

High school diploma

Previous experience in a healthcare setting

Excellent customer service skills.

Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
