CSE EVENT PRODUCTION CREW MEMBER

Start Date: 8/25/2026

Support the Division of Student Affairs and Event Services team in setting up and executing campus events. Gain experience in event logistics, customer service, and A/V technology while enhancing student engagement on campus.  Student will oversee the student lounge when needed. 

Responsibilities and Career Competencies:

  1. Set up and dismantle event spaces, ensuring proper arrangement of equipment, props, and materials – C, TW, CT, T
  2. Operate audiovisual equipment to support presentations and performances – CSD, CT, T
  3. Track and manage event inventory – C, TW, CT
  4. Unload equipment and set up venues including chairs, tables, and stages – C, TW, P, CT, L
  5. Provide excellent customer service to attendees and organizers – C, P, CSD, CTR, L
  6. Ensure event setup meets outlined specifications – C, TW, P, CT, CSD, L, T
  7. Communicate effectively with team and supervisors – C, TW, P, L
  8. Maintain clean and organized event environments – P, L
  9. Attend training and team meetings to enhance skills – C, TW, L
  10. Engage in problem-solving for event logistics – C, TW, P, CSD, CT, L
  11. Collaborate with event services team on planning improvements – C, TW, P, CSD, CT, L
  12. Support Student Lounge operations and engagement programming – C, TW, CTR, L, T

Education Requirements: Must be enrolled and in good academic standing at UPIKE.

Work Schedule: Sunday–Saturday, flexible based on event needs.

Work Conditions: Heat, cold, odors/smoke, noise, vibrations, wetness, humidity, dust, machinery, light intensity.

Physical Demands: Keyboarding, stooping/kneeling, pushing/pulling up to 250 lbs, lifting/carrying up to 30 lbs.

Number of Positions: 1-4, flexible hours per week with a minimum of 2 hours overseeing the Student Lounge.

Pay Rate: $8.75/hour

Location: Various campus locations; Student Lounge and Center for Student Engagement, Wickham Hall
