Sportsplex Archery Assistant

Provide front-line support for the Sportsplex Archery program by coordinating practice schedules, assisting with events, and helping maintain equipment and facilities. Deliver friendly customer service, monitor safety and proper use of spaces, and complete opening/closing and cleaning tasks. Ideal for students interested in sport operations and hands-on archery equipment experience; training provided.

Responsibilities and Career Competencies:

1. Coordinate practice schedules with UPIKE teams and visiting/high-school groups.
2. Assist with planning and supporting archery events, competitions, tournaments, and outreach.
3. Support pro-shop operations (basic equipment checks, cleaning, organization).
4. Learn and assist with bow tuning, minor maintenance/repairs, and arrow building (training provided).
5. Provide welcoming customer service; greet visitors and answer basic questions.
6. Monitor activity for safety and proper use; complete opening/closing checklists.
7. Maintain cleanliness of ranges and storage areas.
8. Support fundraising, sponsor outreach, and social media updates as needed.
