JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Penn State Berkey Creamery is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist with all aspects of our commissary department in a part-time position.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Following all food safety policies and practices
- Packaging and labeling cheese
- Making and packaging dips
- Making and packaging ice cream sandwiches
- Preparing yogurt cups
- Stocking and rotating product
- Inventorying supplies
- Maintaining organization and cleanliness in all areas
- Working independently as well as working with a team
Individuals with a food science background are encouraged to apply; however, this is not mandatory to be hired.
We offer flexible scheduling based on class and/or activity schedules.
Preference given to those who are able to work summers and University breaks.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
