Job DetailsJob Location: State College - State College, PA 16801Position Type: InternshipEducation Level: High SchoolJob Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesInternship Opportunities Intellectual Disabilities Programs Undergraduate level Fall Semester 2026 and Spring Semester 2027   Strawberry Fields, Inc. is a Human Service agency providing residential and community services to individuals with Intellectual disabilities and/or mental health challenges.  We are celebrating 50+ years of service to the Centre region!   Summary: Support individuals with Intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities and/or mental health challenges in a group home setting Shadow Program Manager in day-to-day operations of residential group home Internship opportunities are unpaid   Organization Expectations: Be interested in assisting individuals with disabilities, co-existing medical conditions and mental health challenges Must be flexible regarding availability and schedule Ability to work as a team member and actively participate in all daily routines is essential   Job Responsibilities: The position is in a 24 hour residential program. Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual and programming needs. Hours include mornings, days, and evenings, together with weekends, holidays and breaks.   Physical demand: Ability to exert moderate physical activity (i.e., transferring, bending, twisting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, repetitive lifting, and pushing in miscellaneous activities with individuals and in overall maintenance to the house).     Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age Criminal background check required Professional and Personal references required Must have exceptional communication skills in interactions with consumers, staff, families, and the community.     United Way Partner Agency Equal Opportunity Employer
