POSITION SPECIFICS
The John A. Dutton Institute for Teaching and Learning Excellence in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences (EMS) invites applications for the position of Instructional Production Specialist.
The Instructional Production Specialist provides administrative, technical, and production support to the Dutton Institute learning design team and the broader EMS teaching and learning community. Working closely with learning designers, faculty, and instructional support partners, this position assists with:
Preparing, organizing, and maintaining course materials and instructional systems
Performing proofreading and quality assurance tasks
Training and supervising student digital accessibility assistants
Engaging in accessibility work
Monitoring Digital Learning Cooperative offerings
Supporting the design team in troubleshooting issues
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS) No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education. Required Certifications: None
The Instructional Production Specialist helps support effective teaching practices and contributes to positive and inclusive learning experiences for students. The successful candidate will:
Be organized and have a keen attention to detail
Possess excellent writing and proofreading skills
Be comfortable learning and using new technologies
This is an entry-level position that offers opportunities to learn and grow within a collaborative instructional support environment. The position works under the guidance of experienced learning designers and follows established processes and best practices for course development and delivery.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $31,600.00 - $45,800.00.
