JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for Adjunct Clinical Instructor openings. Adjunct Instructors will (visit clinical sites) graduate nurse practitioner clinical sections in the nurse practitioner program for students located throughout Pennsylvania.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Nursing (doctorate preferred) is required.
  • A current National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner, Pennsylvania RN and CRNP license is required.
  • To be considered for this opening, applications must be submitted electronically and include a letter of application detailing relevant qualifications for this job and a curriculum vitae.
  • Employment with the University for this job will require successful completion of the Pennsylvania (PA) Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and the FBI Criminal History Background Check.

These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment.
