About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery‑Palletizer to join our team at our Cayce, South Carolina bakery. As an Operator 2, you will operate and monitor production and packaging equipment, ensure products meet Aspire Bakeries’ quality and food safety standards, and support efficient daily bakery operations while maintaining a safe work environment.

 

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: 3rd
  • Hours: 10:00PM – 6:30AM
  • Weekend availability: Required

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Operate and adjust production and packaging equipment to meet quality, safety, and specification standards
  • Monitor product quality and equipment performance, making real‑time adjustments as needed
  • Maintain equipment settings and ensure materials and supplies are available for production
  • Ensure continuous compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety requirements
  • Complete accurate production documentation and reports
  • Communicate safety, quality, maintenance, and hygiene issues to appropriate personnel
  • Support a clean, organized, and efficient production environment

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
  • Strong communication and observational skills
  • Demonstrated equipment and product troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment with frequent change
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food manufacturing or bakery production experience
  • Basic computer skills
