THE ROLE

Reporting to the CFO, you will own month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, AR/AP workflow architecture, internal controls, and financial reporting systems. You will lead a team of 3-6, create structure, define process and rules, and hold the team to clear standards for accuracy and follow-through. This is a hands-on role for someone who is technical, factual, and thorough: you will review detail, identify control gaps, use sound judgment, and improve workflows based on evidence. Success means operating with urgency and pace while remaining precise, compliant, and consistent. You will take charge when issues surface, respond decisively, and keep critical deadlines on track.

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS

3- 5+ years of accounting or finance operations experience
Proven experience leading a finance or accounting team, with responsibility for setting KPIs, conducting performance reviews, developing team members, and maintaining accountability for performance and results.
Experience owning month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, AR/AP workflows, and GAAP compliance.
Experience with financial reporting systems and internal control frameworks
Strong organizational and problem-solving capability with close attention to accounting work
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Property management or real estate experience is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
