Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication reconciliation.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
- Assist providers during clinic visits and minor procedures.
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
- Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, prescriptions, and provider instructions.Â
- Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies while following infection prevention and safety standards.
- Respond professionally to patient questions and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care.Â
Qualifications
- Current CMA certification, LPN license, Paramedic or Surgical Tech.
- Previous outpatient or specialty clinic experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.Â
- Proficiency with EMR; experience with Epic preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team -oriented environment.
- Excellent communications skills and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
- Current CPR certification
