Batch Room Technician I

Summary:

Position calls for multi-faceted task oriented person who may be involved in any one of these variables within this position as follows: Goop, Putty, Epoxy and Miscellaneous.  Any or all of these positions may require batch mixing, container handling, chemical handling and pumping, and general maintenance housekeeping. 

Primary Duties:

• Batch mixing according to specifications
• Chemical pumping
• Transfer of and/or mixing of products from one type of container to another
• Use of forklift to  perform job responsibilities 

Level 1

• Batch Room Operations
• Desco Static Room Clearance (B1 and B3)

Non-Essential Duties:

• Warehouse product organization
• Maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and warehouse work area
• Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor 

Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Six (6) months minimum related production/manufacturing experience and/or training is desired
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job
• Forklift certification with a minimum of six (6) months experience
