Dispensing Pharmacist - Long Term Care - Full Time

Omnicare, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of CVS Health Corporation. Omnicare provides a broad array of pharmacy-related services to long term care facilities and other healthcare customers. The pharmacist will work in a fast paced environment ensuring pharmacy management's goals within the dispensing pharmacy. Responsibilities include accurate order entry, maintaining pharmacy security, adhering to delivery schedules, verifying technician orders, checking labels and packaging accuracy, preparing or supervising sterile IV drug products, maintaining inventory for schedule II drugs, knowledge of DEA and state laws, providing coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays, and following all applicable regulations including HIPAA. The pharmacist will be an integral team member, expected to lead and foster continuous improvement, quality, and service. Success requires excellent customer service skills and workflow prioritization. This is a full-time position with a schedule based on business needs. Required qualifications include being a licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania in good standing. Preferred qualifications include Long Term Care pharmacy experience, IV certification or experience, and immunization certification or willingness to become certified. Education required is a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
