Summary: The Servicing Department services consumer and commercial loans. This includes reviewing and verifying that the closing documents are in compliance with Bank policy and Banking regulations and the Bank’s collateral is perfected. In addition, Loan Servicing is responsible for ensuring the loan information is entered and maintained correctly within the Core system for the life of the loan. 

 

Regular Duties:

  • Edit new and renewed loans for errors made during the booking process. 
  • Review all loan maintenance keyed.
  • Balance ELS Settlement daily 
  • Reconcile several loan general ledgers at month-end.
  • Maintain the credit life insurance spreadsheet during the month.
  • All other duties as assigned


REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 to 2 years general office administrative experience and 1 year banking experience.
  • Understanding of MS Word, Excel, and Adobe software. 
  • Familiar with the principles governing loan documentation in accordance with the Bank’s loan policies, procedures and practices when granting commercial/consumer loans to borrowers.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills in order to follow a systematic method.
  • Show initiative while being a self-starter with the ability to prioritize workflow to meet daily, monthly and quarterly deadlines while working efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to research and problem-solve unknown issues and apply appropriate procedures.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn all aspects of the loan system as well as cross train within other areas of Loan Operations.
