Summary:
Receive, store, deliver, and ship material, equipment, and products within established guidelines by performing the following duties. This position regularly makes use of a forklift and/or other vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant. This position requires dexterity of hands and feet to feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
Primary Duties:
- Receive in finished goods and convey them to proper location
- Work with team leads to determine what components will be needed for the current run
- Comply with all safety rules according to company policy
- Research and recommend product and production improvements
- Assist other departments as needed
- Demonstrate and be able to assist
Level 1
- Certified forklift driver and crown
- Forklift Inspection report
- Ability to change propane tank
- Print SKU locations
- Identifying and looking up receipt ID
- Learning how to use hand scanner
Non-Essential Duties:
- Maintain order and cleanliness of warehouse(s)
- Secure warehouse at the end of each work day
- Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor
Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Forklift certification and six months minimum related experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience that provide the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job
