The Printing Plate Mounter is responsible for the accurate placement and bonding of flexographic printing plates to the carrier sheet. They will use the methods specified by the CGC order, customer specification and SOPs to complete the mounting process. The Printing Plate Mounter is expected to driver Container Graphics CS mindset and always represent the company in a positive, energetic, and consistent manner. They will report directly to the Production Manager.

• Review the order and all supporting information to assemble the materials required to complete the order

• Accurately position, bond and seal the plates to the prescribed carrier sheet

• Upon completion of mounting: where applicable produce inked proofs of the finished plates for the customer

• Visually inspect the finished plates for any defects or deviations from standards or customer specifications

• Notify the appropriate personnel immediately whenever an issue is discovered

• Evaluate the operational state of the equipment used and ensure it is adjusted, aligned, and maintained

properly

• Accurate data collection of time and materials

• Follow all CGC corporate safety program requirements

• Understand and participate in quality checks as required

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping in work area

• Perform all other related duties as assigned
