Position Summary

Reifel Industries is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for accurately receiving incoming materials, preparing finished goods for shipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Forklift experience is required.

$17.50-$19.50

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Verify incoming materials against customer paperwork and shipping documents
  • Complete receiving inspections and identify discrepancies
  • Enter and maintain inventory information using computer systems
  • Create work tickets and properly tag received materials
  • Place materials in designated inventory locations
  • Prepare finished goods for shipment
  • Complete shipping documentation accurately
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures
  • Identify and properly tag non-conforming materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work with production and other departments to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Perform  other duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • Excellent attendance and reliability required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
  • Forklift experience and/or certification required
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, early arrivals, or extended hours as needed
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Work performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
  • Frequent exposure to forklifts, trucks, and production activity
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move materials for extended periods
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
