How You Contribute to The Team

 

The SPF Cell Machine Operator is responsible for various tasks in the manufacturing of garage door springs according to customer and product specifications. 

 

  • Set-up and operate equipment. 
  • Select robot program options according to production requirements. 
  • Monitor workflow through heat treatment process.
  • Change over and ensure proper tooling is used according to specifications. 
  • Unload finished product onto pallets and/or racks ensuring proper quantities are in bundles. 
  • Consistently meet or exceed established key performance indicators.
  • Utilize computers at different points in the process to complete required tasks. 
  • Complete preventive maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Complete daily clean up and 5S responsibilities. 

 

What You Need to Succeed

 

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Manufacturing experience. 
  • Computer programming aptitude for robotic and automated equipment. 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in using hand and measurement tools.
  • High level of attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Dependability and a willingness to learn.
  • This position will frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

 

Team members are paid weekly. The target hourly pay range is $21.50 to $24.50 depending on qualifications, experience, education, and other factors. A shift premium may be available depending upon shift and location. Our competitive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, short-term/long-term disability insurance plans, 401(k) with employer match, tuition assistance, paid time off and paid holidays.
