We need someone who is experienced, hardworking, reliable, and pays extremely close attention to detail. The right person must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Experience operating an edge banding machine is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor edge banding machinery
- Apply edge banding accurately and consistently
- Set up and adjust the machine for different materials and specifications
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Make adjustments as needed to maintain proper results
- Keep production moving efficiently and meet daily production goals
- Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
- Work as part of the cabinet shop production team
Qualifications
- Previous edge banding experience preferred
- Cabinet shop or woodworking experience is a strong plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand and work for extended periods
- Able to follow instructions and measurements accurately
- Quality-minded and dependable
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
